Hello, I'm Eloise Taylor, the founder of MIXA.

With nearly a decade of experience in the hair industry, I've had the privilege of working in various salons, ranging from cosy village spots to one of the top salons in the south-west of England. Throughout my journey, I observed a persistent challenge in the industry— the absence of proper colour records. Many attempted to maintain paper records, only to find them lost or damaged. Driven by a determination to find a solution, I brought Mixa to life.

My venture into Mixa has been a long-cherished dream, and I am genuinely thrilled to share it with all of you. My guiding principle has always been to excel in simplicity, and I wanted to embody that in Mixa. Throughout the design process, my focus was on ensuring the app's core revolved around simplicity – no unnecessary frills. In the fast-paced world of hairstyling, time is a precious commodity, and I was determined to create something that maximises it efficiently.

The hair industry holds a special place in my heart, offering me incredible opportunities, from collaborating with renowned brands like GHD at London Fashion Week to traveling to Paris with L'Oréal and participating in workshops led by extraordinary hair artists. My passion for this industry runs deep, and I'm thrilled to give back by introducing Mixa, a tool that simplifies the lives of hairstylists and adds value to their craft.
